Tom Maxwell Snr has sent in Photo's about his company

 Maxwell Freight Services.

Based in Crumlin Nth Ireland. Tom started in 1975 as an owner driver with a DAF 2200 for 4 years and then was joined by Rob Boyd as his first driver. Rob stayed with Maxwell Freight Services untill his tragic death a couple of years ago. Robs son Trevor still works for Maxwell today.

Maxwells operate a 12 acre depot with around 50,000 sq feet of Warehousing. The bulk of there work is in the Retail Sector, They specialise in hanging garment transport moving around 250 000 garments each month. They also do general carrying to Hazardous Goods.

Maxwell operate 25 tractor units , 8 rigid vans and over 200 semi-Trailers. 

Tom Maxwell Snr retired in 1999 and the reins were taken over by his two sons Terry and Tommy who are joint managing Directors and under their leadership the Company has grown.

Maxwell Freightlines have just been named

Northern Ireland Haulier

Of the Year for 2007.

And one of their drivers has been named as

Lorry Driver Of The Year

for the second year in a row.
